A graduate of Central Michigan University, he began his professional journey in broadcasting, working as a television sports reporter and anchor in Colorado before returning to his hometown roots in Michigan. That career pivot ultimately led him to a path where he could combine his communication skills with a passion for strengthening the community he calls home.

His ability to build relationships, share successful stories, and advocate for Oakland County has made him a valuable contributor to the county’s ongoing growth and success.
A dedicated community leader, Chris has been actively involved with the Detroit Economic Club through the Career Readiness Academy mentorship program and as a member of the DEC Young Leaders Board. Through mentoring students and emerging professionals, he has helped others develop the skills and confidence needed to pursue their own career goals while paying forward the guidance he received from mentors throughout his journey.
His commitment to service extends beyond his professional responsibilities. Chris has contributed his time and expertise through the American Cancer Society GenNow Network, the Village of Beverly Hills Zoning Board of Appeals, and Leadership Oakland. Colleagues and community partners recognize him for his integrity, enthusiasm, and genuine desire to create positive outcomes for others.
