Metro Detroit Resident Wins 19th Consecutive Jeopardy Game

METRO DETROIT ~ A metro Detroit native extended his winning streak on the popular game show Jeopardy after he won his 19th consecutive game.

Jamie Ding, a 2009 graduate of Grosse Pointe North High School and now a New Jersey resident, won his latest game on Wednesday, now with a total of $539,573 won. According to The Jeopardy! Fan, a website that compiles Jeopardy data, Ding is the seventh most successful player in the show’s history in terms of money won.

He has a chance to extend his winning streak during the show’s next airing on Thursday evening.
