The loss to Minnesota marks five straight, and eight straight away from Comerica Park. For a team projected to win the American League Central Division this year, the Tigers will need more production from the offense, specifically the heart of the order, including left fielder Riley Greene, first baseman Spencer Torkelson, and right fielder Kerry Carpenter.
