INDIANAPOLIS, IND. ~ Michigan announced itself early and never backed down in a 91-73 win over Arizona in Saturday night’s Final Four semifinal. The Wolverines controlled the tempo from the opening minutes, jumping out to a double‑digit lead behind crisp ball movement and physical defense. Michigan carried a 48-32 advantage into halftime, marking Arizona’s worst defensive half of the season and setting the tone for the rest of the game.
Junior center Aday Mara anchored the effort with 26 points on 11-of-16 shooting and nine rebounds, repeatedly finishing through contact and altering shots at the rim. Junior guard Elliot Cadeau kept Michigan poised, dishing out 10 assists and consistently creating open looks as the Wolverines remained patient and composed on offense.
