NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. ~ “Today” anchor Savannah Guthrie will be making her return to the NBC program on April 6. She has been absent from the desk since her mother, Nancy Guthrie, disappeared almost two months ago. The 84-year-old Nancy was last seen at her home in Tucson, Arizona, on Saturday, Jan. 31. The national search has yet to come to a conclusion as April rolls around next week. In an interview with Hoda Kotb, Savannah said that she believed that her mother was abducted for ransom.
