TSA wait lines at airports are continuing to lengthen as many workers continue to quit or stay home amid a partial government shutdown that’s leaving these workers without pay.
TSA head said that 460 TSA officers have quit since the shutdown began over five weeks ago, as Congress continues to battle over funding for the Department of Homeland Security, particularly funding for ICE. TSA wait times vary across the country, but some are reaching some of the longest wait times in TSA’s history.
