DETROIT, MICH. ~ Since winning an Olympic Gold medal for Team U.S.A., Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin has been active in his community. Wednesday afternoon, the Waterford native dropped by the DET3 Amazon Fulfillment Center in Pontiac to help put together packages, sign autographs, and donate $25,000 to the Michigan Animal Rescue League, in partnership with the NHLPA.
“Just amazing to see all the moving parts,” Larkin said about his experience working at the Amazon facility that sits where the Pontiac Silverdome used to call home. “I have a whole new appreciation about what the workers go through.”
