TSA has been short-staffed, and workers are working without paychecks due to the shutdown, which has been going on for over a month because of Congress members’ inability to agree on Department of Homeland Security funding. The website TSAWaitTimes.com reported a 24-minute wait time for security checks at the Detroit Metro Airport.
