DETROIT, MICH. ~ Major airport hubs across the country are dealing with significant TSA delays due to the ongoing partial government shutdown. Wait times in cities like Atlanta and New Orleans eclipsed an hour earlier this week, as airports expect even longer lines with spring-break travelers preparing to fill the skies. This is the second time in half-a-year that TSA workers are dealing with a government shutdown, as the Department of Homeland Security hasn’t operated in full force since Feb. 14. TSA employees haven’t received a full paycheck since federal funding expired.
