LANSING ~ A group of Michigan House Republicans is seeking to loosen rules on concealed carry pistols, seeking to remove the required permit to do so.
House Bills 5653-5657 would remove the $100 concealed pistol license by making Michigan a “constitutional carry state.” Rep. Joseph Fox (R-Fremont), one of the representatives pushing the bill, said the permit requirement goes against the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
