WASHINGTON D.C. ~ Reports are emerging from the White House that President Donald Trump is asking his advisers behind closed doors about who they think would be best to run in 2028.
The names Trump singled out were Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, with these two said to be viewed favorably by the president. A recent poll from Echelon Insights found that if a hypothetical GOP primary were held today, JD Vance would win with 37% of the vote, followed by Donald Trump Jr. with 14%. Rubio would come in third with 11%.
