MINNEAPOLIS ~ President Donald Trump‘s border czar, Tom Homan, suggested there may be a “drawdown” of federal ICE operations in Minneapolis amid substantial backlash and protests against federal crackdowns on immigrants.
This comes as the Trump administration faces intense scrutiny over the killing of Minneapolis residents Alex Preti and Renee Good by ICE agents, though there have yet to be any signs on the ground of this drawdown. Protests across the country are scheduled for Friday, with many of these protests encouraging “nationwide shutdowns” by refusing to work or buy products.
