Jan. 14, 2026 ~ Democratic Congressman Shri Thanedar joins Kevin Dietz to discuss President Trump’s visit to Michigan.

DETROIT, MI ~ Live from the Detroit Auto Show, Kevin Dietz interviewed Democratic Congressman Shri Thanedar about United States President Donald Trump‘s trip to Michigan Tuesday. Trump spoke at the Detroit Economic Club along with visiting Ford‘s Rouge plant. Thanedar expressed his disappointment with Trump’s speech, citing that he didn’t focus on issues affecting everyday Americans. “I wish he had talked about skills training” Thanedar said.”I wish he had talked about raising minimum wage. I wish he had talked about creating jobs and lowering unemployment rate, which is at an all-time high in the last four years. So the real pocketbook issues need to be addressed.”
