LANSING ~ Michigan House Speaker Matt Hall recently voiced support for introducing legislation for implementing price controls for hospitals in the state, hoping to tackle the issue next year. Hall recnetly expressed concern over ballooning hospital costs. He is considering something similar to the Michigan Public Service Commission, which sets prices for public utilities, but for hospitals.
