PHILADELPHIA, PA ~ The Detroit Lions had plenty of chances to defeat the defending Super Bowl champions on the road on Sunday Night Football, but ultimately came up short, losing 16-9 against the Eagles. Sloppy play from Detroit quarterback Jared Goff, dropped passes, poor blocking, missed fourth downs, and a very questionable pass interference call to seal the game hurt the Lions at critical times. Detroit will look to bounce back once again next Sunday as the New York Giants will come to Ford Field for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
