WASHINGTON D.C. ~ The Trump administration is looking to overturn a Biden-era policy that would affect millions of people’s credit reports. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has reportedly drafted an interpretation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act that would repeal any state laws that ban medical debt on individuals’ credit reports.
