Oct. 26, 2025 ~ The Michigan WWII Legacy Memorial is working towards building a permanent memorial that will provide a year-round multipurpose destination telling Michigan‘s unique story. The Michigan WWII Legacy Memorial will be a resource for educational programs, events, veteran outreach, and resources in keeping with our mission. John Maten, spokesperson for the memorial, joins Michigan Voices.
Every year in October, the Shades Of Pink Foundation gets closer to raising $100,000 for breast cancer patients in Southeast Michigan. This year, it looks like they’ll surpass the goal, with the organization also celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025. Executive Director Kevin Browett joins Michigan Voices.
