MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MI ~ Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham revealed on Wednesday that bird poop, among other evidence, helped them to find the suspect in the shooting of Macomb Township businessman Eddie Jawad.
Jasan Delanta Martin, 32, faces multiple charges, including assault with intent to murder, after being arrested Sunday on suspicion of shooting Jawad at his home on Oct. 14. Martin then allegedly fled the scene in a black Ford Escape that was equipped with a stolen license plate, with police able to use surveillance footage to track the car back to the suspect’s home with the proper plate. Brake dust, smudges, and bird poop were used to identify the car.
