DETROIT, Oct. 13, 2025 ~ Tensions boiled over after a 30-17 Sunday Night Football loss as Detroit Lions’ safety Brian Branch and Kansas City Chiefs’ wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster got into a scuffle right as the final whistle blew.
Branch went up to Smith-Schuster, who committed a questionable block during the game that was not flagged, and hit him in the helmet which caused both sidelines to jump into the action.
Detroit Head Coach Dan Campbell apologized on behalf of Branch after the game on Sunday. Branch also called his actions “childish.”
