DETROIT, Aug 11, 2025 ~ Detroit Lions safety Morice Norris has returned to the team facility after suffering a frightening head injury during Friday night’s preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. Norris was injured while attempting a tackle and was immediately taken to a local hospital after going limp on the field. The game was suspended with a quarter remaining due to the seriousness of the situation.
Head coach Dan Campbell provided an update during Monday’s press conference. “It’s good to have him back,” Campbell said. “He’s in concussion protocol. We are going to take it nice and easy, make sure he’s good over the next 10 to 14 days and reassess.” The team is taking a cautious approach to Norris’s recovery, with medical staff continuing to monitor his condition.
