ALLEN PARK, July 21, 2025 ~ Day two of the Detroit Lions’ training camp kicked off Monday, July 21, with lots of talk about the changes to the offensive line. With the retirement of center Frank Ragnow and the addition of rookie Tate Ratledge, plans to be at the top of the NFL once again for the unit haven’t changed.
“The standard is the standard,” offensive lineman Taylor Decker said. “You lose big pieces but we have put ourselves in a position where we are expected to perform a certain way.”

July 21, 2025 ~ The Detroit Lions opened camp this weekend and are already in midseason form…by midseason form we mean defensive players getting injured. Defensive Lineman Levi Onwuzurike will be out for the entire 2025 season with a torn ACL. Anthony Bellino and Ryan Elkhe can’t believe the injury bug is already hurting the Lions especially after last season on “Spin on Sports.”
(CONTINUED) Guard Christian Mahogany is also expected to start alongside Ratledge after a promising 2024 season. The former sixth-round pick will presumably replace Kevin Zeitler.
Second-year lineman Giovanni Manu took reps in place of Decker as the veteran continues to rehab from offseason shoulder surgery.
Detroit will open training camp to fans on Friday, July 25.
