TRAVERSE CITY, June 13, 2025 ~ The 2025 National Cherry Festival will be returning to Traverse City on June 28, lasting until July 5. Over 500,000 visitors are expected to attend the ceremony celebrating the cherry capital of the world.
“It’s eight days of glorious cherries,” Executive Director of the National Cherry Festival Kat Paye told “All Talk‘s” Dave Trott. “There are 150 events and 90% of them are free to the public. It is a beautiful time in northern Michigan to celebrate cherries.”

(CONTINUED) From pie eating to concerts every night, including Tyler Hubbard and Grand Funk Railroad, the 2025 National Cherry Festival has plenty of action to keep the whole family entertained.
The first two nights will feature air shows from the F-22 Raptor Demo and the F35B Lightening II. The celebration will be capped off with parades on the night of Thursday, July 3 and the final morning, Saturday, July 5.
