Michigan Woman Charged Over Alleged Gun Storage Law Violation After Grandson Accused of Bringing Gun to School

MACOMB COUNTY, May 27, 2025 ~ A Clinton Township woman was charged late last week for allegedly violating safe storage laws after her grandson was accused of bringing a gun to school.

Center Line High School was in lockdown a couple of weeks ago after three students were seen posing with a handgun in the bathroom. One of the students is the grandson of Lisa Renee Christy, 52, who police claimed kept her gun and ammunition in an unlocked room, following an investigation, leading to the charges.
