PONTIAC, MI, May 7, 2025 ~ On Tuesday, the Michigan Court of Appeals denied a request from the Oxford High School shooter, Ethan Crumbley, to recind his guilty pleas and resentence him.

Crumbley’s legal team argued that his legal defense during his trial was not sufficient and asked to reconsider his life sentence with no chance of parole. However, the three-judge panel stated the request had no merit. He was convicted in relation to the shooting in 2021 that killed 4 students, along with injuring six students and one teacher.
