Tigers Pick Up Win in Second Wild Card Game Against Astros

HOUSTON, Oct. 2, 2024 ~ The Detroit Tigers will head to the MLB American League Division Series after scoring a thrilling win in their second wild card game against the Houston Astros.

A point was not scored until the sixth inning when Parker Meadows slammed a ball over the fence to pick up the lead. The Astros briefly picked up the lead in the next inning, but the Tigers surged ahead in the eight, finishing the game at 5-2.
