STOCKHOLM, Nov. 16, 2023 ~ Kicking off the 2023 NHL Global Series in Sweden, the Detroit Red Wings will face the Ottawa Senators at Avicii Arena tonight.
The Detroit hockey team arrived in Stockholm Sunday afternoon. Since then, the Wings have been busy balancing rigorous practice and sleep, along with complementary team building exercises.
For a second time this year, the Red Wings are driven to defeat the Senators in an away game, looking to improve their record to 9-5. On Friday, the Wings are set to play the Toronto Maple Leafs for the second match of the series.
