Sept. 8, 2023 ~ The Detroit Lions opened the NFL season in an upset with a surprising 21-20 win over defending Super Bowl Champs, the Kansas City Chiefs.
This game was the first time the Lions opened the NFL season against the Super Bowl champion since 1967. “JR Morning“ co-host Jamie Edmonds and WJR Sports Wrap co-host Sean Baligian recap the game on 760 WJR‘s “JR Morning” and “All Talk” respectively.
