EAST LANSING, Michigan, November 19, 2022 ~ The Spartans seemed all but bowl-bound headed into halftime Saturday with a 24-7 lead over the Hoosiers.

Hopes however faded fast as a series of second-half slipups – including an interception, a kickoff returned for a Hoosiers touchdown, and a missed short-range field goal – all combined to send a tied game into overtime.

The frigid-cold day ended with a 39-31 double-overtime loss for the green and white.
