First Wireless EV Charging Road in US to be Built in Detroit

DETROIT, February 2, 2022 ~ The first wireless charging EV road in the United States will be built in Detroit, and will consist of a mile-long stretch near Michigan Central Station.

The road, which is being developed by Israeli startup Electreon, will be able to charge both moving and stationary vehicles, and is on track to be completed by 2023.
