University of Michigan Reaches $490 Million Settlement in Sexual Abuse Case Against Former Sports Doctor Anderson

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN, December 21, 2021 ~ The University of Michigan has agreed to a $490 million settlement, awarding damages to over 1,000 students who were abused by sports doctor Robert Anderson between 1967 and 2003.

The settlement payout will be split between those who have filed suit against the school, with the remainder being set aside for future claims.
