New CV Numbers; Unmasking Effort For High School Sports

The numbers continue to grow.
The latest figures from the Michigan Department of Health show there were 504 new cases of the corona virus and 15 additional deaths. The state has now recorded 6,680 deaths among 117,910 confirmed cases.

People who say masks can create breathing difficulties, especially for high impact sports,held a rally in Lansing .
Under Governor Whitmer’s order, athletes are required to wear masks at all times for football, soccer and volleyball.
A group called “Unmask our Athletes,” is hoping their action in Lansing will prompt state leaders to reconsider this mandate.

The Ingham County Health Department reports more than 12-hundred corona virus cases linked to Michigan State University— twice as many as the university reports.
