Where Are The Mich CV Cases?

As the Michigan numbers from the COVID-19 pandemic continue to grow, more is being learned about events that are causing the most problems. Almost 25-percent of Michigan’s recorded outbreaks during most of July and August occurred in long-term care facilities. Social gatherings such as funerals, weddings and parties accounted for 19-percent. Job sites were responsible for 16-percent of the outbreaks. While bars and restaurants were initially seen as potentially big sources for contacting the virus, but state health figures show they accounted for only about 9-percent pf the reported cases.

Michigan reported there were 539 new cases of the corona virus and 6 additional deaths yesterday. The figures bring the state’s death toll to 6,473 among its 102,017 cases. Detroit continues to be the worst hit city in the state, reporting some 15-hundred deaths.
