A Michigan State medical student was killed by a suspected drunk driver in a wrong-way crash on I-475 in Grand Blanc Township.
Police say 60 year old William Bertt of Flint drove his SUV south in the northbound lanes of I-475, and crashed into a car driven by 25 year old Laura Osaer of Macomb Twp.
Osaer was a medical student at Michigan State University and was on her way to an internship at a Bay City hospital.
Police believe Bertt may have been drunk. Bertt was also killed. Toxicology tests are pending.
