Paul Whelan’s lawyers are in the Moscow city court today appealing his imprisonment in Russia.
Whelan is the Novi man charged with being a spy. Whelan’s brother David thinks Russia will “see what they can get from the United States in exchange for him.’ Whelan was visited by Canadian officials last week.
Whelan has been in custody for nearly a year. He said he was in Russia for the wedding of a friend. Whelan has citizenship in the US and 3 other countries.
