It’s back to court today for ex-Macomb County clerk Karen Spranger.
It’s a probable cause hearings on charges she made eight illegal withdrawals from an ATM account belonging to a 78 year old woman she had reportedly been caring for.
At least 16-hundred dollars was taken.
Spranger had been fired from her county job last year after an investigation determined that she had lied about where she was living when she filed her election papers to run for the clerk’s job.
