Farmington police are asking for citizen help in identifying a man wanted in the assault of a 32 year old woman.
The woman told police a man grabbed her Saturday night as she approached her apartment in the Jamestown complex on Grand River near Halsted.
She said she able to fight him off and he fled the area on foot.
He is described as a heavyset white male, around 30 years of age, with a beard and what she called scruffy hair.
Police say he may have been driving a dark compact vehicle similar to a Toyota Prius.
