A bond hearing is scheduled in Detroit Federal Court Monday for a man suspected of being a supporter of Islamic extremists. 21-year-old Khalil Abu-Rayyan had been under FBI surveillance since May of last year for allegedly making terrorist threats. He was arrested last October. He told federal investigators that he heard voices telling him to kill people, that shooting and death made him excited and that he wanted to shoot up a nearby church. He was ordered held without bond, but his attorney says Abu-Rayyan is no terrorist and wants bond set.
