Gil Hill, the former Detroit city councilman has died. He also was known for his role as Inspector Todd in the “Beverly Hills Cop” movies starring Eddie Murphy. Gilbert Hill was hospitalized at DMC Sinai Grace where he was listed in critical condition earlier this month with complications from pneumonia. Hill was a former Detroit Homicide Inspector and an actor. He was elected to the Detroit City Council in 1989 and eventually served as president. He also ran for Mayor back in 2001, but lost ro Kwame Kilpatrick. Hill was 84.
