Plans for Ann Arbor light rail are in the works

The University of Michigan along with the City of Ann Arbor is working to build a light rail system between Downtown, the outskirts of Ann Arbor, and the university campus. The rail will take many years to build and the expected cost is approximately $500-million. Public forums pertaining to the plan will be held in late March.
