Carbon monoxide is the cause for the death of a family of six whose bodies were found Sunday in a Fenton Township home. Police say the bodies of the two adults, Len and Heather Quasarano, and their four children, ages 2, 4, 7, 11, were found in the Stony Brook Condominium neighborhood. The victims’ home is in an area that experienced a power outage Friday. A generator was found in the lower level of the home and power was restored to the area on Saturday morning. The last time anyone spoke with the family was Friday night after they returned home from church. On Sunday morning, Len Quasarano’s father, concerned he couldn’t reach his son and daughter-in-law, went to the home and discovered the bodies. Police said they could have been dead since Friday night. It’s not clear if they had been working carbon monoxide detectors. Bodies were found on all three levels of the home. Three of the four children went to Lindon Middle School and grief counselors will be at the school today to assist the students.
