An FBI spokesperson told Channel 4 Detroit that an FBI task force member was shot Friday evening outside the Marriott Hotel in Southfield on Northwestern Highway. The task force was conducting a human trafficking operation when shots were exchanged. One suspect is dead. The task force member was wearing his bulletproof vest, which ultimately protected him. Vehicles were towed from the scene but no arrests have been made.
