The UAW’s Chrysler Council has approved the tentative new deal with Fiat Chrysler. The vote was overwhelming. Now the contract goes before the 40,000 FCA employees for a final vote. UAW President Dennis Williams said the union secured a stronger contract. Some of the highlights include the first general raise in 9 years, health care unchanged, a bigger piece of profit sharing, and $3,000 & $4,000 bonus when the contract is approved.
