Hillary Clinton will be in the Detroit area Tuesday raising money for her run for president. The former Secretary of State and First Lady is headlining a fundraiser at the Grosse Pointe home of David Katz and Jill Alper. Katz is a former chief of staff to Wayne County Executive Ed McNamara and was Jennifer Granholm’s 2002 campaign manager. Alper was a Democratic Strategist for Granholm and presidential candidate John Kerry, among others. To host the event, a person must raise $50,000. The cost to attend the event is $2700.
