He’s been waiting for his new assignment-the late show on CBS and had nothing better to do-so Stephen Colbert popped up as the substitute host for Only in Monroe, the public access show on Monroe Cable TV. Colbert did the whole 40-minute show with various guests, including one who he introduced as making a name for himself in the music industry: Marshall Mathers, who drove to Monroe for the show and got some advice from Colbert in light of the flooding of the River Raisin.
