Enhanced severe weather risk but Ford Fireworks are a go

severe-weather-alertThe National Weather Service says we have an enhanced risk of severe weather later. For Monday night, the primary hazard will be significant wind gusts to 70 mph, hail to golf ball size, and isolated tornadoes. The greatest tornado threat will reside north of the M-59 corridor. The primary threat is north of M-59 and is from 9 pm through 2 am and 11 pm through 4 am to the south.

Despite these predictions, the Ford Fireworks are on. The decision to keep them on schedule has been made by Tony Michaels, head of The Parade Company. He explains:
