Plan to reduce gun violence is announced

Crime PreventionCurbing gun violence in Detroit requires a multi-pronged approach and plans were announced at a press conference to do just that on Monday. Included at the press conference were United States Attorney Barbara L. McQuade, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy and Detroit Police Chief James Craig.  Barbara McQuade laid out some ideas on how she thinks the job can be accomplished.
