The woman accused of beating her friend to death with a crock pot has entered a plea of guilty–but mentally ill. Tewana Sullivan faces a 23-50 year prison sentence. Judge Michael Hathaway accepted the plea although Sullivan was found competent to stand trial. Sentencing is scheduled for June 15th.
Sullivan admitted she bludgeoned her friend 66 year Cheryl Livy to death in Livy’s Livonia apartment on October 22nd. She said the two had argued and that’s when she hit Livy with the pot.
