DETROIT, MI — A fire halted Ambassador Bridge traffic Tuesday afternoon. Highway ramps to the international bridge were shut down around 12:30 p.m., according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.The Canadian Transit Company told the Windsor Star a pickup truck hauling a trailer caught fire on its way to Canada, and that no collision was involved.
There were no reports of injuries. The bridge is now re-opened. . MORE
