A boil water advisory is going into affect Sunday night for for Shelby Township, Washington Township and the Village of Romeo. The Detroit Water and Sewerage Departments needs to make repairs to a water main between 27 and 28 Mile roads on Campground in Washington Township. The advisory starts at 10 p.m. Sunday night and It will end when the repair is complete. Residents will notice a decrease in pressure during this time. When a Boil Water Alert is in effect, don’t drink the water without boiling it first. Boiled or bottled water needs to be used for drinking, for pets, for preparing food, brushing teeth and washing hands.
