Rachel Nevada is a Detroit native with a diverse background in the Detroit broadcasting industry. She has over 15 years of major market experience as a radio personality and has been a part of the 760AM WJR family for most of her career. She has co-hosted and produced for WJR Radio's The Mitch Albom Show, The Frank Beckmann Show and The Warren Pierce Show.

Rachel is currently hosting Sunday Sessions, a weekly program that focuses on positive self development and psychology issues with Dr. Gail Majcher and Mary Diapolo.

She has hosted several television shows and her voice is often heard in radio and television commercials.

Ms. Nevada placed as a top ten finalist for The Regis Philbin Show Women In Radio Week. She has been a featured celebrity in Detroit Style Magazine, Detroit Home Magazine and the Oakland Press recently highlighted her career in their Feature Section.

Rachel is the narrator of the nationwide planetarium film, "Bad Astronomy: Myths and Misconceptions". It can be seen in 22 major cities across the United States and as far as Africa, Japan and New Zealand.

Rachel has won numerous awards, which include a RTNDA Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Feature Reporting, a Michigan Association of Broadcasters award for Best Feature and an Associated Press Merit Award.
